Really enjoy the Flemington Coffee Shop. Great atmosphere, friendly service, and consistently good food. It’s a solid local spot once they’re up and running. The only issue is the posted weekday opening time. It says 6:00 a.m., and the servers are usually there at 6, but the owner/chef often don’t arrive until 6:15–6:30. I’ve waited multiple times and ended up leaving, and have seen other cars do the same. Just something to keep in mind — if you’re going early, plan for closer to 6:30. Once they’re open, it’s a great place.
I don’t usually leave reviews but wow. I used to come here with my dad when I was young and loved it, so I was excited to bring my 10 yr old. That won’t be happening again. It was $46 before tip for my child and I to have breakfast! This food should be sourced from local farms for that price. My omelet was $20 — well overpriced for the quality. And my son’s breakfast sandwich was $10.99! For 2 sausage patties and a single slice of cheese on an English muffin… no side!!!! A small cup of fruit was another $4! On top of that, a small orange juice and a small kids chocolate milk (not priced on the menu) were evidently about $5 each. Meanwhile, the menu lists an egg, meat, and cheese sandwich WITH hash browns or home fries for $9. How does that make any sense? The pricing is completely inconsistent and feels very greedy. To add insult to injury the food was beyond bland. No flavor at all. And to really top it off, the younger waitress (ours) was dismissive and rude. The older waitress was sweet, kind and even agreed it was all overpriced — she said verbatim “shouldn’t be more then $35” but, nothing was done about it. Really disappointing experience, this place isn’t what it used to be. We won’t be back and I would actually steer people clear at this point to be honest. Not worth it. Such a shame. I hope they make a change and do better
This small, quiet place just fed us some of the best omelets we’ve had. The veggie omelet was a french style crepe that surrounded a medley of totally fresh vegetables. The multiple veggies were perfectly grilled. The homefries were large, well-seasoned wedges that were not greasy in any way. The wait staff was very friendly and coordinated with each other. Prices are very reasonable for the quantity and quality of the food. If we lived locally, this would be regular spot for us.
Lovely staff! Great experience overall. I got the bacon egg and cheese with hash browns! Good price and tasty! Would definitely go again and would recommend!
1st visit here. LOVED IT. I had Steak and Eggs and it was AMAZING!. Filet mignon! Prepared exactly. Fun servers, with a sense of humor, locals with genuinely good conversation. My server was excellent, and my coffee cup stayed full and hot. It was a great stop on a miserable rainy day. So glad I picked it. The do charge for using a card. 3.5%, which I just wish they would bury the cost in the menu. I used a debit card, which there is a max charge, the can charge of 50cents, but they probably weren't aware. I will be back, but with cash! I just hope they stop hitting me!🤣🤣🤣🤣🥰🥰🥰
An old Flemington school coffee shop reopened August 2023. Went for breakfast, delicious! Mel was my server, she was spot on with her service, I sat at the counter. It's way way better than the diner across town for breakfast. They are now serving dinner, Thursday, Friday, Saturday! Come on in and give them a try, it's delicious and reasonably priced!
Went on a busy morning, the staff was friendly and top notch in handling the crowd. They are definitely a fine tuned business. The food was absolutely delicious and fresh. Love the whole vibe
This place is great! I just found out today via Google. The breakfast is out of this world! I got the H1 Hungry Man special and Western Omelet with bacon instead of ham. The ladies were extremely nice and also told me about the Thursday thru Saturday dinner menu from 5 to 8, and they recommend making reservations! I will definitely be coming back!
